It’s more a case of what hasn’t been keeping us busy this month! From an ad campaign and microsite for a brand new engineering project team; a large campaign for panel members which covered marketing, a website and complex ATS restructuring; to website optimisation and latterly, a range of proposals for apprentice, school leaver and senior level recruits within the legal sector – things are steaming ahead. We were also very excited to start working with a totemic Bristolian brand… yes, our first ad for Aardman Animations went ahead this week – check out the ad for a Digital New Business Manager on www.bubblejobs.co.uk
When we have managed to stop and draw breath, however, the thing that has gotten us talking the most is the apparent strength of the job market despite the triple-dip recession. Operating within an industry which has traditionally been the first hit when things get tough, it’s positive to see employers continue to invest in attracting and maintaining the very best of the talent available on the market.
We’ve discovered that … having steadily increased and strengthened our range of product offerings towards the end of last year is starting to pay real dividends. There’s been plenty of interest and activity around our innovative online chat tool, web campaign pages, employee engagement surveys, social media strategy planning and video production capabilities.
Colin the Caterpillar has made us laugh, we’re afraid to say. It was Deb’s birthday at the end of the month and after a glass of Bucks Fizz (or two), we were most amused to behead him and enjoy some scrummy chocolate cake! He looks a bit sad, though….
And even though it feels like we’ve only just taken the Christmas decorations down (what can we say, we liked having them up!), it seems that at least one of our clients are looking forward to the next public holiday already. We’ve been asked to create an Easter card and are relishing the challenge of coming up with something a little bit different!
